TASTING NOTES

The 2017 Irancy Les Beaux Monts is a touch more high-toned. Revealing attractive aromas of red cherry and chocolate, as well as some subtly balsamic top notes that I suspect will integrate with time. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy with an ample and enveloping attach, good depth at the core and a rich and dramatic profile by the standards of the appellation. – William Kelley
