The Château de la Terrière has stood in Cercié since the 16th century, in the heart of the Beaujolais region. It is one of the oldest estates in the region. The nose is very aromatic, with strawberry and cherry notes. Rich in the mouth, this is a cellarable Beaujolais-Village. The perfect partner for mixed salads, terrines, grilled fish, and vegetable terrine.
SOIL & VINEYARD
The vines form part of the Régnié Cru in lieu-dit of "La Tour Bourdon". Stony, white granite soil withold alluvial deposits.
VINIFICATION & AGEING
Traditional whole-bunch vinification. Approx. 15-day maceration. Aged in stainless steel vats.
TASTING NOTES
The nose is very aromatic, with strawberry and cherry notes. Rich in the mouth, this is a premium Beaujolais-Villages.
